Agreement
These Partner Terms form an agreement between you and the ReleaseTrax operator described on our Operator Information page. The general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
By enrolling, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you accept these Partner Terms.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a ReleaseTrax account in good standing.
- You may enrol as an individual or for a business you are authorised to represent.
- You are an independent participant, not an employee, agent or legal representative of ReleaseTrax.
- You must keep your country, tax and payout information accurate.
Qualifying referrals
A referral may qualify when a genuinely new customer follows your signed Partner link, creates or uses their ReleaseTrax account within the attribution period shown by the programme, and completes their first eligible paid Plus or Premier subscription.
A referral does not qualify when it is a self-referral, an existing or returning subscriber, a duplicate or coordinated account, an unpaid or unsuccessful checkout, or activity that ReleaseTrax reasonably identifies as fraudulent or abusive.
The current attribution period is 30 days. Attribution is locked to the first eligible Partner recorded for that customer and is determined by ReleaseTrax’s server records.
Rewards and reversals
ReleaseTrax records a gross reward of US$1 for each qualifying new paying subscriber. The reward is funded by ReleaseTrax and does not give you ownership of or a share in the customer’s subscription.
Rewards remain pending for 30 days. ReleaseTrax may reverse or withhold a reward if the related payment is refunded, disputed, charged back, cancelled through payment failure, duplicated, manipulated or otherwise ineligible.
Payouts and verification
Your dashboard separates pending rewards from available balance. Payouts will be subject to the minimum threshold, schedule, supported countries and methods displayed before you request a payout.
Before enabling a payout, ReleaseTrax or its regulated payout provider may require identity, age, address, business, bank or tax verification. You must complete that process accurately. ReleaseTrax will not ask you to email identity documents where a secure provider flow is available.
Currency conversion and payout-provider fees, if any, will be shown or explained before payout. ReleaseTrax may delay a payout while a verification, fraud, refund, sanctions or legal review is unresolved.
Tax
You are responsible for understanding and meeting the tax obligations that apply to your Partner income. ReleaseTrax does not provide personal tax advice.
ReleaseTrax may collect tax information, report payments, or deduct and remit withholding when required by the law that applies to ReleaseTrax, you or the payout. Your dashboard or payout statement will identify deductions made by ReleaseTrax.
How you may promote
You may share your Partner link through genuine content, communities, websites, social accounts, messages and conversations where promotion is permitted.
- Do not send spam, use deceptive claims, impersonate ReleaseTrax or conceal that you may earn a reward.
- Do not buy or bid on ReleaseTrax brand terms in search advertising without written permission.
- Do not place the link on illegal, exploitative, hateful or misleading content.
- Do not offer unauthorised cash-back, create fake demand or pressure people to subscribe.
Data and privacy
Your dashboard provides aggregate referral and conversion information, not the identity or payment details of referred customers. You must not attempt to identify them from the programme data.
ReleaseTrax processes Partner account, attribution, financial and verification information as described in the Privacy Policy. A payout provider may process additional information under its own privacy terms.
Suspension and ending
You may stop promoting ReleaseTrax at any time. ReleaseTrax may pause or close a Partner account to investigate abuse, enforce these terms, comply with law or protect the programme.
Closing a Partner account stops new attribution. Legitimately earned available balance remains subject to verification, reversal, withholding and payout rules. Rewards connected to fraud or material breach may be cancelled where permitted by law.
Changes
ReleaseTrax may change reward rates, eligibility, attribution periods, hold periods, thresholds or programme availability. Changes apply prospectively unless a correction, fraud response or legal requirement must apply sooner. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where reasonably possible.
Governing law
These Partner Terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country remain unaffected.
